TejasAsia is an initiative meant to bring " practical hope fuelled by positive action" into the lives of children, depressed youngsters, single parent and many others who need a meaning to life beyond existentialism" TejasAsia is a registered national level NGO with its registered office in the capital, New Delhi. It's key focus is providing education to the marginalized and under-privileged, providing health care, food and nutrition to the malnourished street/slum children, rescuing children from child labor. There is a great emphasis given to empowering street single mothers, women and addicts. The heart of our mission is to give hope and a future to all.

What started out as a dream in our minds has become the proponent of a fully fledged activity that has the potential to spiral into something this nation needs desperately. In July 2006, we took the opportunity to start feeding hundreds of street children, young adults and educating  six days a week. We are now able to feed and educate many hundreds of street children in many of our outreach locations in New Delhi, India. We conduct medical camps on a regular basis. We are already seeing progress being made in the life of these children.

Some of our endeavors also include opening more non-formal schools for educating the street children, providing them with skills; training and helping them find suitable employment as they grow up.

Our mission is to prepare them to handle everyday life with confidence. We desire to rehabilitate these precious children from the streets to a caring home, to give them the care and the love they need.

Our future plans include starting programs for the handicapped and mentally challenged individuals and also a centre for Learning Disabilities with the help of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
