TejasAsia Alternative Income Project is a unique holistic development program that supports every aspect of community development so children and their families are truly empowered to break out of poverty. Children and single mothers are provided with a steady source of income through these projects. We have started many centers for special skills training in most of our outreach locations. Many older street children, school dropout youths and single mothers attend this training daily. We teach them tailoring and cloth making, card designing and production, candle and soap making, arts and painting, pottery etc. With this campaign, we aim to give the children and single mothers a sustainable way to earn money, to buy a sewing machine, milking animal they can use to earn money. When they're able to earn a good living, mothers can send their kids to school instead of work, opening a whole world of possibility.
