IT ALL BEGAN TejasAsia’s journey began in July 2006, when Marlo Philip took a team of young professionals to the streets of R.K. Puram, suburb of New Delhi, the capital of India. A dream became a reality to serve the precious children on the streets of this magnificent and historical city with all its political influence and charm! I shared this inspiring and encouraging idea that resulted out of compassion and about meeting this humongous challenge to some good friends. Their response was- overwhelming and encouraging!!! So we took a step together to make a difference to make an impact in the lives of these underprivileged children on the streets of India and Asia. In our first encounter, we came across more than hundred and twenty children on the 26th of July 2006. We believe this day is a remarkable day in our lives! Today, by God’s grace we are able to continue serving them not only in R.K Puram but in several other locations in the city of Delhi. Team TejasAsia believes in giving - a hope and a future to these children at any cost! We have served several thousands of meals, distributed several tons of clothes (seasonal clothes), medical care & other basic needs, spent several hundreds of hours of teaching the children, providing creative education and entertainment so far! …And we will continue on by faith! Our mission is to ‘enable and empower’ each child with what it takes them to be winners’ What a tremendous opportunity we have together
