Key Support Team

Dr Marlo & Sheril – are the executive directors and the visionaries of this initiative and mission – transforming lives and communities. After finishing his Bachelor of Science degree in India, he went on to continue his higher studies in Australia. He finished his Master's Degree in Theology and his Ph D (Missions). He worked with Woolworths Australia for seven years in a senior management position and returned back to India in 2005 with a vision to serve his nation and to make a difference.

Sheril finished her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Delhi. She later finished her higher studies in the US, completing an administration and management degree. She has a huge heart for children and also a great musician.

Dr Marvel Philip - also the co-director has been very instrumental in setting up TejasAsia. He took this initiative very close to his heart and doesn't miss an opportunity to talk to the world around him about the urgency of being the answer to the problem. He looks after the health care, promotions and fund raising. He works as a Manager- Global Resourcing for a Healthcare corporate firm based in California, USA. He is a qualified physical therapist who has had many years of working experience in the health and management sectors in the UK, India and currently in the U S.

Dano Cherison – Dano & Blessy, they are key supporters of the vision of TejasAsia, transforming children’s lives with compassion by providing love, care and security. They assist in the production of the marketing materials for promotions and networking for TejasAsia. Dano was employed with Saatchi & Saatchi, Bahrain as the chief accounts director for a good period of time and now owns his own advertising, designing and production Company. He serves as the President of Communion (www.communionme.com)

Luke Nichols – a Radiographer from Sydney, Australia has been involved with TejasAsia since its inception. He heard about TejasAsia’s mission of transforming lives especially street children and felt strongly to get connected with its cause. He is our Ambassador in NSW, Australia networking and raising awareness of this organization. He is a hard core believer of doing ‘what we can’ to make a difference…Because We Can!

Joseph Sam – has been actively involved with TejasAsia since 2006. We greatly value his continuing support and advice to making sure that TejasAsia get to its dream of eradicating poverty and making it a history. He works as the Advisor, Corporate Relations of a reputed fashion school called the - Pearl Academy of Fashion, New Delhi. Joseph is also the founder of Vedact, an advisory firm based out of Delhi.

Shobana Masters a key person who believes we all should do our part to make a difference. Her legal assistance is always guaranteed even in the midst of busy schedules of her profession. After resigning from a well known law firm in Delhi, she currently runs her own law firm – Lex Chambers, in New Delhi. We are benefitted highly with her expertise in the field of law and legal matters and a great supporter to this mission!

Dr Prashant Usurumarthi – Dr Prashant and his team has been taking care of the health care needs of the children in all our project locations. He has great heart to care for children and therefore the reason for his inclination to pursue higher studies in pediatrics. His continued partnership and medical assistance is greatly admired by our team. He has worked in many well known hospitals in India. Currently he practices medicine at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. He also runs his own health centre to assist the marginalized and underprivileged in his community.
